Jim Hutchins, Chairman & Founder
“Hutch” is the owner and Director of Education at the Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center (NWNHC, LLC) in Fall City, Wash., an equestrian education center providing lessons, summer kids camps, classes and horse training in natural horsemanship. He has been involved in equestrian education for more than 20 years and has been actively involved in the equestrian community as Chairman of the Washington State Horse Park Foundation, President of Friends of Fall City Arena, Producer of the American Horsewoman’s Challenge, and more. Previous to his involvement in equestrian education he had a 30-year career in marketing communications with large corporations as well as technology startups.

Betinna Maher, Vice-President/Volunteer Coordinator
Betinna has a broad background in education, aviation and travel. She has been a Substitute Teacher at Eastside Catholic School, a Travel Consultant for Expedia Cruises, an Operations/Customer Service Trainer for Worldwide Flight Services and British Airways/Menzies Aviation, as well as a Ground School Instructor for Tasker Air Services. Her passion for horses started when a horse came into her life as the hobby of her daughter. 


Noelani Bevill
, Treasurer
“Nowy” is a horse owner and lover with an extensive background in finance and business. She has a more than 20-year career as an accountant and controller for companies such as Gracon, Shannon & Wilson, Tesla Exploration, and Hunter Energy, LLC.

 

Brendan Hutchins, Director At Large
Brendan is a military veteran who served as a Rescue Swimmer and Crew Chief for the U.S. Navy. Since leaving the Navy he has held positions as a Project Engineer and Environmental Manager for Skanska and currently is the Parks and Trails Planner for the City of Newcastle, Wash. Brendan grew up riding horses, scooping a lot of poop and pounding fence posts on his family’s farm.
