Our Mission
The NWNHC Family Fund was founded in 2010 to help families in need experience the healing power of the horse without worrying about the costs. The fund provides scholarships to assist struggling families in making their child’s horse dreams come true.
Parents facing the economic challenges of lost employment, single parenting, and other hardships want their child to have the same opportunities as other kids. They also want to feel that, despite their current challenges, they can provide and support a happy childhood. Children wishing to participate in horsemanship and riding lessons, summer horse camps and special equestrian clinics and workshops can apply to receive partial or full scholarships to offset expenses.
